Joe Morgan RIP Dec 2023.jpg

RIP Joe Morgan.

Sad news that long-term club member Joe Morgan from Grinton, near Richmond died on new year’s eve, aged 88.

Joe rode with the club for many years on a variety of machines including Ariels , Triumph twins, cubs and more recently a Drayton Bantam.

A regular competitor in the Scott Trial in his younger days. His greatest success was probably winning the first Manx clubman trophy in 1996 aboard his 350 Ariel.

The funeral will be held at 1pm on Wednesday the 24th January at Darlington Crematorium, Carmel Rd North, Darlington DL3 8RY.

There will also be a gathering after the funeral at the Richmondshire Cricket Club, Hurgill Rd, Richmond DL10 4AR and all are welcome.

R.I.P Andy Hesketh.

A long standing club member was taken from us far too soon on Friday 17th November.  Andy was an enthusiastic off- road rider of all things two wheeled and a brilliant engineer with a hand in building many bikes that are ridden in the club.  He will be sadly missed.
